Great choice for trip. Functional hotel with lovely pool and brand-new room. Location really close to cooler/fountain, the big Texas restaurant and good location, and the canyon. Great breakfast with many healthy options and the oatmeal, as example - well worth the money.

hampton inn in amarillo exceeded our expectations during our drive to the lake. their excellent facilities, friendly staff, and convenient location made our stay enjoyable. we especially loved the guest laundry, tea/coffee in the lobby, and the delicious breakfast options. the modern and attractive styling inside the hotel was a pleasant surprise.
Need more luggage carts.
